there are so many war movies out there that are so unrealistic that any person could tell its fake. Then there are those war movies that are so fucked up that you know that they are realist. I have a few good examples of what i am saying. Platoon is one of them. the part where they are in the village making the one legged guy hop and then shooting his mom. Then the men trying to rape the girl. Another good example is A Thin Red Line. One of the Americans go up to a surrendering Japanese guy, hits him in the face with the butt of his shotgun, followed by shooting him the face. Lastly in the book we are reading in my English class, The Things They Carry. These Americans friend dies then he takes a water buffalo and shots it up. I mean he screws it up.
